Your mission; plan a spacecraft launch to the red planet, design your mission patch, and create and launch your own rockets. Learn what it takes to land a rover safely on a surface of unknown terrain. The junior astronauts/astronomers in this class will investigate the science and engineering needed to plan and execute their mission just like NASA. You will discover answers to question such as: What is so special about the Earth that allows life to thrive? What are "extremophiles" and why do they make us think that there may be life on Mars?
This camp is offered at Nazareth College the week of July July 9-13th.
