What is ITC?
The Infotonics Technology Center is a highly collaborative initiative among industry, universities, and government.
It is designed as a word-class, New York State enter of Excellence in photonics and microsystems. The summer science camp
is one initiative of an educational comittee organized by the Center and focused on helping to prepare the high-tech workforce
of tomorrow. The camp is designed to generate enthusiasm and interest for science, math, and technology for all students entering
grades 4-9.
Partnership with Penn State
The Infotonics Technology Center is proud to offer summer science camp programs as part of an agreement with Penn State
University's Eberly College of Science. The college, which developed these offerings under its Action Potential Science Experience
program, has delivered these and other science programs to hundreds of young people in Pennsylvania in the past decade. Visit
